What we do

Children's Parties

At our children's parties, we aim to make it a fun and interesting experience for the birthday boy or girl and family and friends. Everyone will get the chance to touch and hold the various reptiles and mini beasts including snakes, bearded dragons, scorpions, giant millipedes and more. I provide anti-bacterial hand gel for all those who are brave enough to touch the animals.

As the animals are displayed, I tell the children all about them, answering any questions that are thrown at me, and of course let them get up close and interact with the creatures. Pictures can be taken at any time during and after the session.

The birthday boy or girl is presented with a Dylan's Reptile Time bravery certificate to congratulate them on their big day.

Educational Visits

As well as children's parties, we also provide our services to schools, nurseries, pre-schools, scouts/cubs/brownies/rainbows groups and more. The sessions will be tailored to the relevant age and needs of the groups.

These visits are fun, interesting and educational, allowing the children to get up close to the animals and hold/touch them if they wish to.

During the sessions, as the animals are displayed, I discuss their different life cycles, what they eat, where they are from and the habitat they live in etc., and other interesting facts to engage the children. I also answer any questions that the children throw at me about the various animals.

If you would like me to concentrate on any particular topics with the children, such as Habitats or Senses etc., please contact me to discuss further and I will be happy to oblige.

Cubs/Scouts/Brownie sessions can coincide with their Animal Carer or Wildlife badges.

Hi, we just wanted to take the opportunity to say another HUGE Thank You for your visit to Izaak's party yesterday. All the children loved it and the adults couldn't pay you enough compliments for how fantastic you were with the children and how you kept them all interested and engaged. It was a great experience and Izaak has woken up this morning still completely excited about the whole thing from you letting him pick two cards, to holding the snakes and the bearded dragon. Everyone loved that you gave them opportunities to take pictures at the end too.
